3 Days Uganda Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
The 3 Days Uganda chimpanzee habituation experience is an interesting tour that will take you to Kibale forest national park which is also known as the primate capital. Kibale forest national park is home to different primate species, including chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, and grey cheeked mangabey among others. During the 3 days chimpanzee habituation experience, you will get an opportunity to spend four hours with the chimpanzees in their natural environment and also engage in Bigodi swamp walk.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale forest national park-Bigodi swamp walk
Depending on your location on the first day of the 3 days chimpanzee habituation experience, you will be welcomed by our driver guide from either your hotel in Entebbe or Entebbe international airport to start the journey to Kibale forest national park. On the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the scenery, landscape, Rwenzori peaks, tea plantation and a stopover for en-route lunch.
After lunch, you will continue to Kibale forest national park and upon arrival you will go for an interesting nature walk in Bigodi wetland where you will be able to spot different primates, birs species among others. After the Bigodi swamp walk, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee habituation experience
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 days Uganda chimpanzee habituation experience, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kanyachu visitors Centre for chimpanzee habituation briefing. After the briefing, you will be allocated an experienced park guide and start trekking in Kibale forest which takes a whole day.
During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, mammals, bird species among others and once the chimpanzees are located, you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in the habitat which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, resting, hunting, grooming young ones, take photos and record the moments. After chimpanzee trekking, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the 3 days chimpanzee habituation experience, you will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and upon Arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise.
