What Our Clients Say!
EXCELLENT Based on 34 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor MynEs TVerified 10 day great journey in Uganda & Rwanda. Our group recently completed a 10-day Uganda Rwanda safar with Salt Holidays, and the entire experience was well planned and wonderfully organized. From the moment we landed in Entebbe, Salt Holidays everything was organized smoothly and professionally. On the way to Kibale Forest National Park, we saw beautiful rural scenery, but the real highlight was the chimpanzee trek. Seeing chimpanzees roaming freely in the forest canopy was unforgettable. The Bigdi Wetland Walk was equally enjoyable, as we saw colorful birds and monkeys everywhere. One of the most unique moments was driving through Ishasha and spotting tree-climbing lions resting comfortably in the trees. Relaxing by Lake Kivu after several safari days was refreshing and peaceful. The golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park was energetic and entertaining from beginning to end. The Kigali city tour on the last day was informative and a perfect conclusion to an amazing safari adventure.Posted on Tripadvisor Aleksi TVerified Peaceful 10 days & Salt Holidays was very responsible. My girlfriend and I completed our 10-day best of Uganda safari, honestly it was an unforgettable experience made by Salt Holidays. The gorilla trekking experience was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Walking through the misty, ancient forest created a mystical atmosphere, and it was our first time seeing gorillas up close, so we were excited. Besides the gorillas, the Big Five game drives were equally exciting. Every day brought something new, from lions lazing lazily on the grass to elephants crossing our path. Everything was very well organised and our guide made the trip safe and interesting. Ending our journey in Entebbe was the perfect way to close out such an incredible adventure. We will never forget this journey.Posted on Tripadvisor Rens DVerified Excellent experience and undoubtedly it was our favorite trip in Uganda. Our 7-day midrange safari started in Entebbe, and it was a very exciting and rewarding peaceful family journey. From the beginning, Salt Holidays organized everything perfectly and they planned well. The guides were knowledgeable and patient, making sure we understood the behavior of each animal we encountered. One of the highlights for us was the boat cruise which gave us a completely different perspective of wildlife. Visiting Lake Bunyonyi was a peaceful contrast to the excitement of the savannah. The accommodations were comfortable and safe. A big thank you to Salt Holidays for making our journey easy and enjoyable. Overall, it was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.Posted on Tripadvisor Lesław YVerified Unforgettable journey, we enjoyed Uganda's natural beauty. Our 3-day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park with my partner and we booked Salt Holidays, they were just an amazing team and a great Ugandan local tour operator. Queen Elizabeth National Park offers such a rich mix of scenery and wildlife that every hour felt different from the last. One minute we were driving past open savannah, and the next we were near crater lakes that looked like something out of a painting. The chimp trekking at the Kyambura gorge was so rewarding, when we found them, it was worth every step in the gorge, we initially wanted Kibale Forest but had limited time, salt holidays recommended the Kyambura gorge and we couldn't ask for more! Seeing chimpanzees in their natural habitat, interacting freely, was something we will never forget. The Kazinga Channel cruise was surprisingly relaxing, offering close-up views of hippos, elephants and birds in a calm setting. Asante Sana the whole team of Salt Holidays.Posted on Tripadvisor Thibault BVerified Our 10 Days best classical safari experience in Uganda. Our 10-day safari in Uganda, and our wildlife experience was a very exciting, and it was consistently carried out by Salt Holidays as per our expectations. We started trekking with our very professional guide. The highlight was trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We also tracked rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which added a different layer to the Big 5 goal. Walking on foot toward such large animals is very different from viewing wildlife from a vehicle. Game drives in Murchison Falls National Park brought elephants, giraffes, and a distant leopard into view. Each park had its own beauty. We spent 10 days observing wildlife and understanding the diverse landscapes of Uganda. Many memories that will truly last a lifetime.Posted on Tripadvisor Caspian RVerified Our safari experience is a unique combination of experience and wildlife diversity. My wife and I recently finished our 7 Days Midrange Safari with Big 5 and primates in Uganda with Salt Holidays as well as a local Ugandan tour organizer. Our guide was very helpful and responsible for our safety. Spotting mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was the most difficult but rewarding part. The trek was steep and muddy, but the hour spent observing a gorilla family up close made the effort worthwhile. Our next destination was Kibale National Park and we got a authentic chimpanzee tracking experience. Queen Elizabeth National Park delivered a strong Big 5 moments, especially seeing elephants cross the road in front of our vehicle. The midrange lodges were comfortable, clean, and served good local meals. Honestly Salt Holidays, everything professionally organized. The boat cruise added sightings of hippos and aquatic birds. Visiting Lake Bunyonyi gave us time to unwind by the water. Unforgettable memories that stay in our rest of life.Posted on Tripadvisor Sams SVerified Wonderful journey & Salt professionally managed. We had the opportunity to go on a 7-day safari in Uganda, where we went primate tracking and saw savannah wildlife, and it was our best experience. Our 7 day journey made by Salt Holidays maintenance team. Their perfect guidelines and helpful guide made our journey easy, safe and memorable. We started at Kibale National Park, chimpanzee tracking required patience. Our ranger explained their behavior in detail, which made the encounter educational rather than just exciting. Then Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the gorilla trek was the emotional center of our trip. Seeing a mother gorilla groom her infant only a short distance away was unforgettable. Queen Elizabeth National Park provided classic safari game drives, where we observed elephants crossing dusty tracks and buffalo resting in groups. Our lodge was awesome and the staff were hospitable. Lake Mburo National Park offered a quieter finish, with zebras grazing near our lodge. Undoubtedly it was the best adventure time with my family.Posted on Tripadvisor Lavis GVerified This vacation time with my family was unforgettable in Uganda. Our family of four (kids 11 and 14) finished our this 7-day Uganda midrange primate and wildlife safari with Salt Holidays. It was our best vacation to spend time with my family. The chimpanzee tracking at Kibale was lively - the kids loved chasing the pack through the forest and seeing the mothers with their babies. The gorilla experience at Bwindi was intense but rewarding, the one hour viewing experience flew by as we watched them feed and play. Bwindi gorilla trekking tested our legs but delivered, being that near a family group felt really special. Queen Elizabeth National Park was the action-packed part, lions, elephants, buffaloes on game drives, and a boat cruise where we saw tons of hippos and birds. Our guide was amazing, very professional and patient with the children's endless questions and always finding the best views. Lake Mburo was a relaxing end-zebras roaming, walking safari learning tracks, and birdwatching. We were very satisfied with Salt Holidays. And we got a authentic experience. We would like to recommend this safari trip.Posted on Tripadvisor Vesa PVerified We would like to highly recommend this 3 day Serengeti safari. We completed our 3-day famous Serengeti National Park safari mid week of January in Tanzania with Salt Holidays. It was truly one of the most memorable trips with their very beautiful arrangements. The pickup and transfer on day one were well-timed and comfortable, which made the long drive enjoyable rather than tiring. We were very grateful with our professional guide and really impressed us most was how our guide seemed to know exactly where to go at the right time, increasing our chances of seeing rare animals. It was our 1st time thrilling animal observation. On day 3, the drive back to Arusha felt reflective, we were tired but incredibly happy. Best wildlife adventure experience.Posted on Tripadvisor HirotoVerified Excellent 3 day experience in Uganda. Our 3-day journey in Uganda with Salt Holidays a great experience and well planned. We explored Murchison Falls National Park. Our guide was fantastic and very professional, he explained very beautifully. Watching the Nile River move through the narrow gorges near the falls was humbling and electrifying. My girlfriend and I shared quiet moments under the endless sky, listening to the roar of lions in the distance and the babbling of hippos in the river below. We were very close to wildlife encounters and we felt Ugandan wild in the best way- unpredictable, raw, and real. It was a really special experience for us. A big thank you to Salt Holidays team management.
