Detailed itinerary of 4 Days Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and head to Masai Mara National Reserve with stopover in Narok town for interaction with the local people and the Rift Valley for stunning views of the escarpment. Continue to the reserve arriving in the afternoon, have lunch at your lodge after check-in.
Later go for a game drive giving you the first introduction to Masai Mara wildlife, from the comfort of your vehicle you will see other animals including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, Maasai Giraffe, Buffalo, eland and other animals.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara following the Great Migration and viewing the great predators. On the savannah plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia trees. See millions of wildebeests filling the savannah plains of the reserve on their annual search for water and green pastures.
In the afternoon, you will go for a visit to Maasai Village for an encounter with the local Maasai people. On this visit you will interact with the Maasai people, take part in their dancing and singing, sacred rituals. Have a glimpse into their homes and social structure giving you an enriching experience. Later head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Wake up early and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive perfect for sighting of predators as they return from their hunting sprees. Return to the lodge for full breakfast and short rest. After lunch, you will return to the reserve to explore more and follow the Great Migration’s large herds. Also, keep your eyes out for predators like lions, leopards and cheetahs among others.
Continue following the Great Migration feeding on the green pastures of Masai Mara, these herds are normally followed by predators looking for a day’s meal. Enjoy picnic lunch along the Mara River and continue exploring the reserve till evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
