This 4 Days Maasai Mara & Lake Naivasha Safari takes you on a Kenya safari tour to two of Kenya’s most popular wildlife protected areas that is Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Naivasha.
The tour gives you an opportunity to see different wildlife species including the Big Five – lion, leopard, cape buffalo, elephants and rhinos as well as bird species including pink flamingoes on the shores of the beautiful Lake Naivasha.

Detailed Itinerary of 4 Days Maasai Mara & Lake Naivasha Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up by our representative at the airport upon or your hotel in Nairobi after breakfast, and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve through the spectacular Great Rift Valley with a stop-over at the escarpment viewpoint.
You will arrive in time for lunch, enjoy your meals and have a short rest. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve, famous for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration that takes place in July and August where close to a million wildebeests cross the Mara River in search of pasture and water.
During the afternoon game drive, you will see high concentration of wild animals in reserve including large herds of elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles and zebras grazing in large numbers.
Big cats are also not hard to spot either including the elusive leopards. Masai Mara is one of the few places you are guaranteed to spot the famous Big Five on a single morning or afternoon.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve Experience
You will start your day with cup of coffee and go for a morning game drive from 6:30 am – 08:30 am. You will return to the camp for a full breakfast. You will spend the morning at leisure with an optional visit to the Maasai Village. Alternatively, you can take a nature walk within the lodge with the naturalist who will tell you more about the fauna and flora of the Mara Ecosystem.
Enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, you will return to the park for an evening game drive, enjoying sightings of several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, hartebeests, elands, buffaloes among others. After sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and later checkout and leave Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha. If you are interested, you can pass by a Maasai village for a cultural visit, learn about the culture of the Maasai people, be entertained by local dances and drama, interact with the locals among others.
Arrive in Lake Naivasha in time for lunch, check in at the lodge and enjoy your meals and relax. Later, leave the resort for a boat ride to explore the lake and head to the Crescent Island. Here you will take a guided walk on the island where you will enjoy close interaction with animals including zebras, gazelles, elands, giraffes and several bird species.
Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
You will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge and later check out and head to Hell’s Gate National Park you can have a chance to cycle in the wild or visit the gorges. Later, you will proceed for lunch and thereafter, depart for Nairobi.
Arrive at around 4:00 pm where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home for to your next destination.
