Day one: arrival and Kigali city tour
arrival and Kigali city tour: On day one of your 3 days akagera national park safari, upon arrival you will be picked up by your tour guide at a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport and taken through the briefing session of your entire safari.
During the briefing session where your guide for the safari will give you an insight of the activities you will participate in during your safari like gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking, among other activities, you will also be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow during your activities and as you participate in your safari for an amazing safari as you visit Rwanda and Uganda.
After the briefing session you will begin your safari by taking in part of the Kigali city tour where you will get to visit memorable sites like the Kigali genocide memorial museum where you will get to understand the events that led to the occurrence of the Rwanda genocide, you will also get to visit the Kimironko market, the largest market in Rwanda, where you will get to purchase souvenirs, organic fruits, and traditional Rwandan attire, among other products.
At the climax of your Kigali city tour, you will get to visit one of the restaurants in the city where you will have tasty Rwanda dishes. After the rewarding experience, you will make your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On reaching the park you will check in your hotel where you will have leisure lunch and overnight stay.
Day 2: Early morning game drive and evening game drive.
Early morning game drive and evening game drive: On day two of your 3 days akagera national park safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Akagera National Park and participate in the early morning game drive where you will get to track all the big five animals, the buffalos along the water sources, rhinos grazing in the plains, elephants along the water sources, you will also get to see a number of early risers in the park like; impalas, zebras, topis, gazelles among other antelope species for memorable experiences and after your rewarding activity, you will transfer to your hotel for lunch and relaxation and later in the afternoon you will take part in the evening game drives/ nocturnal game drive where you will get to see the carnivores in the park catching their prey for dinner that is the lions, leopards, hyenas which will make your activity quite rewarding.
After the rewarding experience in the park, you transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure
Departure: On day three of your 3 days akagera national park safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will check out of your hotel and after be transferred to Kigali city where you can take part in the Kigali city tour where you will have an amazing safari and after the safari, you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport and the end of your safari
